Also, the Frozen Strawberry Mold that GREAT used to make each Thanksgiving. I LOVED it! It tastes like ice cream:) She served a cherry sauce over it, but, unfortunately, the recipe has been lost

Ingredients

  • Cranberry Macadamia Relish
  • 1 bag frozen cranberries
  • 2 jars macadamia nuts
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/4 about 1/4 c. Triple Sec (orange flavor), Brandy or juice (orange or cranberry)
  • Frozen Strawberry Molded Salad
  • 1 square package frozen strawberries
  • 1 larger container sour cream

Preparation

Step 1

Cranberry Macadamia Relish

Grind cranberries and macadamia nuts in food processor until fairly well ground. Put into large bowl and stir in sugar. Add the liquid and mix well. Put into glass jars and firmly screw on lids. Refrigerate at least 1 week before using, flipping jars over at least once a day. They will "cook" in their own juice and turn redder each day. Keeps for months in refrigerator.


Frozen Strawberry Molded Salad

Thaw square, white package of frozen strawberries. Mix well (including juice) with larger container of sour cream. Put into a square pan (lined with foil) and freeze solid. Cut into squares and serve on a lettuce leaf
