Easter nests w/coconut

  • 12 oz. package of shredded, sweetened coconut
  • 1 16 oz. bag of quality semi sweet chocolate chips
  • Jelly or chocolate egg shaped candies for decorating



Step 1

Toast coconut on a cookie sheet at 350 degrees, stirring often until it is light brown. Melt chocolate chips in the microwave for approximately 1 1/2 minutes on high. Stir to make sure chips are all dissolved. Add in coconut gradually.

Drop by rounded teaspoons on parchment or waxed paper. Make a well in the center and place 3 eggs in each nest.
