Pecan Brussel's Sprouts

Pecans are sweet and give a pleasant, tasty tone to the sharp and sometimes sulfurous flavor of Brussels sprouts.

Ingredients
- 2 ilbs Brussels sprouts, yellowed
- leaves and stem trimmed off
- 1/4 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black
- pepper
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and
place a casserole dish inside to
heat up.
2. Quarter the Brussels sprouts and
add them to the hot casserole dish
along with the pecans,oil,salt and
pepper. Toss the vegetables to coat
and then bake for 20-30 minutes,
until tender and very lightly
browned.
3. Remove from the oven, toss with the
butter, and serve hot.
