Pumpkin Pie (3 Pies)

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 C. Brown Sugar
  • 3 T. & 1/2 C. All Purpose Flour
  • 1 1/2 t. Salt
  • 2 t. Ginger
  • 2 t. Nutmeg
  • 4 t. Cinnamon
  • 4 1/2 C. Strained or Canned Pumpkin
  • 6 Eggs
  • 4 C. Milk (Part can be Half & Half or Evaporated Milk to make a creamier Pie)
  • 6 T. Molasses (Sorghum or Karo Syrup)
  • 3 Deep Dish Pie Shells

Preparation

Step 1

1. Place all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. Pour the filling equally into the three Pie Shells.

2. Put into the Oven at 425 degrees for 15 minutes then turn the temperature down to 350 degrees for approximately 1 hour. The Pie is done when a cool butter knife can be inserted in the center of the Pie and it comes out clean. Serve when it cools with Whipped Cream or Ice Cream on top.
