Ingredients
- 4 cups fresh or frozen (not thawed) blueberries
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 stick (1/2 cup) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup quick oats
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 1/3 cup chopped pecans
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Vanilla ice cream, to serve
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
In an 8-by-10-inch baking dish, stir together the first 3 ingredients (blueberries through cornstarch). In a large bowl, stir together the next 8 ingredients (butter through salt). Spread this mixture evenly on top of the blueberries. Bake until the blueberries are bubbling and the crust is golden, about 40 minutes. Cool slightly, and serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
