Calico Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 can shoe-peg corn (drained)
  • 1 can French cut green beans
  • 1 can early (young) peas (drained)
  • 1 red onion chopped
  • 1 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1 small jar pimentos (drained)
  • Heat and cool
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup salad oil
  • 3/4 cup white vinegar

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all the vegetable ingredients together and set aside. When the sauce mixture is cool, pour over the vegetable mixture. Refrigerate. Better if allowed to refrigerate for several hours.
