Tuna Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 large can tuna, drained and flaked into a mixing bowl
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion or scallions
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery (for fiber and crunch)
  • 2 to 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 to 3 teaspoons lemon juice
  • mayonnaise (or plain yogurt for a Middle Eastern touch as well as better nutrition -- to make the yogurt less sour, blend in a bit of honey)

Mix this combination up in a bowl, chill and serve in a pita or fresh baked sandwich bread.
