German Apple Cake (fast)

This is GREAT's recipe, and it's FAST and EASY! Maybe the only fast recipe she had:)

Ingredients

• 1/2 c. sugar
• 1 egg, slightly beaten
• 1 Tb. baking powder
• 1 Tb. butter, softened
• 1/2 c. sour cream
• 1 c. flour
• 4-5 apples (peeled and sliced)

Step 1

Beat first six ingredients well. Pour into greased 9" square pan. Top with apples. Dot with more butter and sprinkle with CINNAMON and SUGAR. Bake at 350 for 30-50. Good use for aging apples...
