Slightly spicy, ginger adds great flavor to Asian dishes as well as chutneys, salads and desserts.
Before cooking, peel with a small sharp knife or vegetable peeler. The flesh may be thinly sliced, minced or grated. Add towards the end of cooking for a more pungent flavor.
