Cream Puffs (dessert & appetizer)

I've always made these for dessert, with chocolate syrup & whipped cream on top. HONEY MOM made these as an appetizer, and filled them with chicken/egg/ham salad ... These are SUPER EASY and fun to make!

Ingredients
- Fillings:
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. flour
- 4 eggs
- Chocolate or Vanilla Pudding
- Whipped Cream & Strawberries

Heat oven to 400.
Ok..these really are fun to make!
Heat water & butter to rolling boil. Stir in flour. Stir vigorously over low heat about 1 min, or until mixture forms a ball. Remove from heat. Beat in eggs, all at once, and continue beating until smooth (get that hubby to do this! It's a great arm exercise!) Drop dough by scant 1/4-cupfuls onto UNgreased cookie sheet (smaller for appetizers). Bake 25-40 min (my ovens have always varied) until puffed and golden. Cool away from draft. Cut off tops and carefully pull out the filaments of dough inside. Eat those. Fill with desired filling and replace tops. If it's a dessert, put whipped cream and chocolate syrup on top ...
