Ingredients

  • make sure valve is clear
  • remove by pressing down on the valve then turn it to
  • align the symbol 'dot'
  • make sure ceramic burner top is clean
  • always put at least 2 cups of liquid in cooker
  • for steam cooking: 6 cups
  • place the steam basket on top of the trivet
  • Always bring up to pressure before starting the timer

Preparation

Beets - peel after cooking - steam 20 - 30 min
Broccoli - steam - 3min
Brussel sprouts - steam - 7 min
Carrots - steam - 7 min
Potatoes - quartered - steam 12 min
- quartered - immersion 6 min
Rice - immersion - 7 min
Turnip - 2.5cm cubes - steam 7 min
- 2.5cm cubes - immersion 6 min
Dried beans - soak over night - immersion 15 min
CHICKEN - 1.2 kg whole - 22 min
