French Fry Seasoning

  • 1/8 cup salt
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon garlic salt
  • 1/4 tablespoon cumin
  • 1/4 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1/4 tablespoon dried basil
  • 1/4 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon celery salt
  • 2 medium russet potatoes, (option to peel or keep skin on)
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil

Preparation

Step 1

Soak the potatoes in water for at least 30 minutes, drain and thoroughly pat dry with a paper towel.

Peel if desired, and cut potatoes into ½-inch by 3-inch strips.

Preheat the Air Fryer to 330°F.

Place potatoes in a large bowl and mix in oil coating lightly.

Add the potatoes to cooking basket and cook 5 minutes until crisp.

Remove from basket and increase temperature to 390°F.

Cook for an additional 10 minutes or until golden brown.

Remove from basket and sprinkle "kick" herb mixture lightly while tossing.
