Maple Apple Pudding

Ingredients
- 4 cups peeled sliced Granny Smith apples
- 2/3 cup maple syrup
- 1/3 cup raisins
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla

Step 1
In saucepan, bring apples and syrup to boil, reduce heat, simmer for 3 minutes. Add raisins, Pour into a greased 8" square baking dish.
IN bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, soda dna salt. With a pastry blender cut in butter. Whisk together milk, egg and vanilla/ Pour over flour mixture, stirring just until combined. Drop by large spoonfuls onto apple mixture.
Bake in 350 oven 30 minutes or until tester comes out clean.
