Ingredients

  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup white flour
  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Step 1

Mix egg yolk and milk together well.

In a saucepan, mix together dry ingredients until well blended. Slowly stir in milk egg mixture taking care to no make lumps. Turn on low flame, add butter and continue to stir until mixture thickens.

Pour into pudding cups. Chill or serve warm.
