Blueberry Peach Cobbler

Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh blueberries
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 pounds peaches, peeled pitted and coarsely chopped, about 3 1/2 cups
- 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup milk

Step 1
Preheat oven to 375.
Combine the blueberries in 1/2 cup sugar and the butter in a small saucepan over high heat. Cook stirring until a syrup forms, about 7 minutes. Remove from heat.
Toss peaches with brown sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon and salt in a mixing bowl Spread in a 3 quart rectangle casserole. Spoon blueberries over.
Mix 1/4 cup sugar and egg in a bowl. Beat. Add baking powder, flour, vanilla and milk. Beat well with a wire whisk until smooth and resembles a cake batter. Pour evenly over the blueberries.
Bake 30 - 35 minutes
Cool 10 minutes before serving.
