Italian Nachos Restaurant-Style

Ingredients

  • 1 pound bulk Italian sausage
  • 1 (7.5 ounce) bag tortilla chips
  • 1 (2 oz) package sliced pepperoni
  • 1/2 pound shredded mozzarella or your choice of cheese
  • 1/2 cup banana peppers, drained (pepperocini-seed and slice)
  • 1 1/4 cup pizza sauce
  • grated parmesan cheese
  • sliced olives
  • sliced green onions

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat broiler.

Crumble sausage into a large pan over medium heat. Cook and stir until no longer pink. Drain. Add a little sauce to moisten meat.

Arrange the chips on a baking sheet. Top with sausage, pepperoni, olives, green onions, mozzarella and peppers. You can also add a few japalenos if you like. Drizzle sauce over all. Place under the broiler until the cheese is melted, 5-10 minutes. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese. (you can also bake 350 oven for 10-20 minutes).

Serve with pizza sauce or a side of ranch dressing
