Ingredients

  • 1 +1/2 lbs. each ground beef/pork/veal
  • (can substitute turkey or chicken, in a pinch just use beef only)
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 egg + 2 egg whites (mixed together)
  • 1/2 tsp. tomatoe sause
  • 3-6 cloves minced garlic (to taste)
  • 1 small onion minced
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup spinach or parsley (optional)
  • salt+pepper, oregano and basil to taste

Step 1

mix all ingedients together.
roll into balls. cook on stovetop or bake in 400F oven until browned. add to sunday gravy 2-3 hours before sauce is done, to finish cooking
