- 1 lb fresh or frozen green beans
- 1 tbsp virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter (NOT margarine)
- sea salt
- fresh ground pepper
- garlic powder
melt butter with olive oil over medium-high heat. Add green beans. Add salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste. Toss green beans to coat with oil/butter and seasonings. Cover and steam, stirring regularly until green beans are cooked.
