Ingredients

  • 2 full rack baby back ribs split into 3 sections each
  • 6 ounces hoisin sauce
  • 2 tbs minced fresh garlic
  • 1/2 cup maraschino cherries
  • 1/2 cup rice wine vinegar
  • Water to cover
  • 4 green onions, chopped (optional)
  • Sesame seeds (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

1. Combine ribs, hoisin sauce, ginger, cherries, vinegar and water in slow cooker. Cover, cook on LOW for 6-7 hours or on HIGH for 3-3 1/2 hours or until pork is done.

2. Take ribs out of slow cooker and place them on a broiling rack. Brush a light coating of hoisin sauce and put under broiler for about 5 minutes.

3. Sprinkle with green onions and sesame seeds before serving
