Ingredients
- 1 small/medium onion
- 1/2 head iceberg lettuce
- 1 tomato, seeded
- 1/4 lb deli genoa salami
- 1/4 lb deli ham
- 1/4 lb deli proscuitto
- 1/4 lb deli turkey
- 1/4 lb deli provolone
- (add some American if you like, too)
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 T olive oil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 1/2 tsp dried basil
- 1 baguette (approx 8 oz) sliced thinly for dipping
Preparation
Step 1
Chop lettuce, tomato and onion and put in a large bowl.
Dice meat and cheese. Add to lettuce bowl.
Mix mayo, oil, oregano and basil in small bowl.
Add mayo mixture to the large bowl and stir until combined.
Refrigerate until ready to eat.
To serve: put a large spoon in the bowl and the bread on a plate.
