Ingredients
- 1 6-oz Stove Top Stuffing Mix (Savory Herb)
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 Tbs butter
- 1 cup celery, diced
- 1 cup onion, diced
- 1 small apple, diced
- 1/4 cup dried cranberries
- 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
- 2 Tbs olive oil
Preparation
Step 1
In a skillet, saute onion, celery, and apple in olive oil, cook about 4 minutes.
Meanwhile boil broth, butter and water.
Add sauteed vegetables and dry stuffing mix along with cranberries and walnuts and cook over medium heat for 1-2 minutes.
Remove from heat, let stand 5 minutes, fluff with fork.
You can serve immediately, or bake in a 350 oven for 10 minutes
