Chicken and Artichoke Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 chicken, cut up
  • salt
  • pepper
  • paprika
  • 6 T butter
  • 1 can artichoke hearts, drained
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1/2 lb mushrooms
  • 2-3 T flour
  • 2/3 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1/4 cup sherry

Preparation

Step 1

Season chicken with salt, pepper and paprika and brown in butter. Place in casserole dish with artichoke hearts. Saute onions and mushrooms. Sprinkle with flour and stir. Add broth and sherry. Pour over chicken, cover and bake at 350 for 40 minutes.
