Ingredients

  • 1 lb veal in strips
  • flour
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 2 green peppers in strips
  • 1 sliced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (1 lb 3 oz) tomatoes
  • 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
  • 3/4 t salt
  • 3/4 t basil
  • oregano
  • pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Coat veal in flour and brown in butter & oil. Remove meat. Saute pepper and onions 5 minutes. Return meat. Add remaining ingredients and simmer covered 1 hour. Serve over spaghetti.
