Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/2 cup sweet rice flour
- 1/4 tsp. xanthan gum
- 1 tsp. seasoning salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 cup Fresca (or 7up or Sprite)
- GF flour
- Oil for deep frying

Preparation
Step 1
1. Heat oil to 375 degrees F.
2. In medium bowl beat the egg. Mix the cornstarch, rice flour, xanthan gum, seasoning and baking powder together in a separate bowl.
3. Dip food into GF flour and then the tempura batter. Drop battered food, a few at a time, into hot oil and cook until golden brown.
