    pkg. mozzarella cheese strings sticks

  • 1

    egg

  • 1

    cup milk

  • 2

    cups GF bread crumbs

  • pepper

  • seasoning salt

  • parsley

  • onion powder

  • garlic powder

  • italian seasoning

Directions

1. Freeze the mozzarella cheese strings sticks. 2. In a small bowl place the potato or corn starch. In another small bowl whisk the egg and milk together. In a third bowl mix together the bread crumbs and seasonings. 3. Cut each frozen cheese string stick into two. 4. Roll each mozzarella stick in the potato or corn starch. 5. Dip each mozzarella stick into the egg mixture and then roll in the bread crumb mixture to coat. Repeat this step twice so that each mozzarella stick is double breaded. 6. Deep fry the mozzarella sticks in hot oil (350 F) until they are lightly browned. Keep a close eye on the mozzarella sticks as they fry…they may burst open if fried too long. Variations: You can freeze the un-fried mozzarella sticks and then deep fry for about 3 minutes before serving.
