Ingredients

  • 1 lb powdered sugar
  • 1 quart milk
  • 12 eggs, separated
  • 1 quart whipping cream
  • 6-8 c bourbon, brandy or rum

Preparation

Step 1

1) beat 12 egg yolks until light in color. gradually add sugar; slowly add 2 liquor, beating constantly.

2) let stand covered 1 hour in refrigerator. add 2-4c liquor, milk and cream. cover, keep in refrigerator 3 hours.

3) beat in egg whites; fold into mixture. serve with nutmeg
