Southern BBQ Pork on a Bun – Slow Cooker

Ingredients
- 1 cup Ketchup
- 1 cup chilli sauce
- 1/4 c Dijon mustard
- 2 T cider vinegar or white vinegar
- 1 T Worchestershire Sauce
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 3.5# boneless pork shoulder butt roast, well trimmed
- 8 buns

Step 1
1. In a saucepan – heat ketchup, chilli sauce, mustard, vinegar, Worshestershire sauce and pepper flakes. Bring to a boil and reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.
2. Place roast and the above sauce in a plastic bag overnight in the fridge to marinate.
3. Remove roast from marinate. Place in Slow Cooker. Add ¾ c of water to the sauce and place in pot.
4. Cover and cook on low for 8=10 hours or high for 4-6 hours.
5. Remove from heat and let stand 10-15 minutes before carving.
6. Place meat on half of the bun and add sauce on top. Top with other half of bun.
