Ingredients

  • 1 head lettuce, rinsed, dried, chopped
  • 1 cup thinly sliced celery
  • 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions
  • 1 (12 oz) package turkey bacon *, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 (10 oz) package frozen peas (run under cold water to thaw)
  • mayonnaise * (enough to cover top of dish)
  • 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2-3 hard-cooked eggs, peeled and chopped

Preparation

Step 1

Place lettuce in a large glass bowl.
Layer celery, green pepper, onions, bacon, and peas over greens.
Spread mayonnaise evenly over peas covering the top completely and sealing the edge of the bowl.
Sprinkle with cheese and chopped eggs.
Cover and refrigerate 2-12 hours to blend flavors.
Toss before serving.
