Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 3 cans black beans drained & rinsed
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 1 Tbsp cumin
- 4 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 bay leaf
- dash hot sauce
- 3 Tbsp tomato paste
- 1 1/2 quarts vegetable stock
- crushed tortilla chips
- cilantro
- onions
- red pepper
- guacamole
- pepper
- salt

Preparation
Step 1
In a soup pot cook the first nine ingredients for a few minutes, add tomato paste and stock, bring to a boil then simmer.
When ready to eat remove bay leaf and ladle into soup bowls. Top each bowl with choice of remaining ingredients.
