Ingredients

  • To make syrup:
  • 2 oz rhubarb syrup
  • 1 lb rhubarb
  • 2 c sugar
  • 4 c water
  • place ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat for 15 mins
  • 3 oz vodka
  • 3 oz aperol (bitter liquor)
  • 3 oz lemon juice
  • strawberries & lemon

Preparation

Step 1

In a saucepan make rhubarb syrup; set aside

In a small wine carafe or pitcher mix rhubarb syrup, vodka, aperol and lemon juice. Add in diced strawberries and lemon slices. Let sit for a few hours so fruit can absorb some of the flavours. Serve over ice and enjoy!
