Ingredients

• 3 cups sugar
• 3 heaping tablespoons flour
• 3 eggs separated
• 3 quarts half & half
• dash salt
• Chocolate - 6 oz melted (add 1 cup sugar to above)
• or
• Vanilla - 2 teaspoons vanilla
• or
• Chocolate Chip - Semi-sweet morsels or shaved

Preparation

Step 1

Sift together sugar and flour.

Mix 3 yolks with a little of above.

Mix 1 quart half & half with salt and add to above mixture.

Cook in double boiler till thick.

Mix with 2 quarts half & half & flavor as desired.

Beat egg whites till thick and mix with above. Chill overnight and freeze in machine according to directions.
