STRAWBERRY JAM (3)

Ingredients

  • 4 CUPS CRUSHED STRAWBERRIES
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 7 cups granulated sugar
  • 3 oz. pouch of liquid pectin

Preparation

Step 1

Place strawberries in large pot or dutch oven. Add lemon juice and sugar. Mix well. Heat and stir on high until boiling. Boil rapidly for 1 minute.

Remove from heat. Immediately stir in liquid pectin. Skim foam off top to avoid floating fruit. Pour into hot sterilized jars. Makes 7 half pint jars.
