    pounds beef stew meat of round steak cut in pieces

    large onion, chopped

    cloves garlic, minced

    (15 ounce) cans diced tomatoes

    small can tomato paste

    cups water

  • 1

    (15 ounce) can pinto beans, drained

  • 1

    (15 ounce) can red or kidney beans, drained

  • 1

    (15 ounce) can black beans, drained

  • 1

    (15 ounce) can butter beans (large limas), drained

    tablespoons chili powder

  • 2

    tablespoons ground cumin

  • 1

    teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 - 2

    teaspoons hot sauce

  • 1/4

    teaspoon cayenne pepper

  • 1 - 2

    teaspoons salt

    tablespoon sugar

    (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate

  • Spaghetti

Directions

Brown the beef with the onion and garlic. Add remaining ingredients and let simmer for several hours. Serve over cooked and drained spaghetti.
