Ingredients
- 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp.sweet basil
- 1 tsp. parsley flakes
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 cans (8 oz.) tomato paste
- 2 cups hot water
- 8 oz. package lasagne noodles
- 12 oz. carton small curd creamed cottage cheese
- 6 oz. package grated mozzarella cheese

Step 1
Heat oil in large skillet; brown garlic and beef. Add salt, pepper, basil, parsley flakes, parmesan cheese, tomato paste and water; simmer 30 minutes. Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain noodles; put half in a 13x9 inch lightly greased pan. Add layer of cheeses, using half of each, then half of meat sauce. Add another layer of noodles, then remaining sauce and cheese. Chill for one hour. Bake at 350 degree 55 minutes.
