Gobble Up Granola Snacks
This recipe is very healthy, omitting most of the sugar you'll find in traditional granola bar recipes.

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups Kashi Go Lean cereal (or other cereal)
- 2 cups quick cooking oats
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup cranberries
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
- sprinkle flax seed
- 2/3 cup honey
- 2/3 cup peanut butter
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Preparation
Step 1
In a large bowl, stir together cereal, oats, raisins, cranberries, sunflower seeds, and flax seed. Set aside. Grease 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray.
Combine brown sugar and honey in a small saucepan over medium heat. Heat just until boiling, then remove from heat and stir in peanut butter and vanilla until smooth. Pour over cereal and oat mixture and MIX WELL.
Press into prepared pan using back of spoon. Cool & cut.
*I put these in the freezer so they harden nicely before cutting.
