Ingredients
- 2 carrots
- 1 onion
- 2 celery sticks
- 1/2 oz butter
- 1 tbsp. oil
- 8 oz lentils
- 411g can diced tomatoes
- 4 cups water
- 2 beef cubes
- pepper

Preparation
Step 1
chop onion, carrots, and celery. heat butter and oil in pot, add onion, celery and carrot, cook stirring occasionally until onion is transparent. add lentils, tomatoes, water and crumble stock cubes. season with pepper. cover and bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 1-1 1/2 hours.
