Sugar Crusted Strawberry Cheesecake

  • Butter
  • Sugar
  • 1 can (9.5 oz.) refrigerated flaky biscuits
  • 2 packages (8 oz. each ) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice
  • Strawberry Topping
  • 1 can (1 lb 5 oz.) prepared cherry pie filling
  • 1 pint fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter and sugar bottom and half way up sides of 13x9 inch baking pan. Separate biscuit dough into 10 biscuits; pull each apart into two layers. Press dough over bottom and up sides of prepared pan to form crust. In large mixer bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until light and fluffy; beat in eggs and lemon juice. Pour into crust. Bake at 350 for 20 to 25 minutes until filling is set in center. Cool; cut into squares and serve with Strawberry Topping. Store in refrigerator.

Strawberry Topping:
Combine all ingredients. Chill until served.
