Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup chicken fat (or cooking oil), skimmed from drippings
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salat
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • drippings, plus water to make 4 cups

Preparation

Step 1

Stir chicken fat into flour, salt and pepper in medium saucepan until smooth. Add dripping and water. Heat and stir on medium until boiling and thickened.

Serve with chicken
