Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 3/4 cup of sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1- 6 oz. package chocolate chips,1cup
  • 2 cups cornflakes
  • 1 1/3 cups flaked coconut
  • 1/2 cup of chopped nuts

Preparation

Step 1

Measure milk, sugar and butter into sauce pan. Cook over medium heat, stirring until mixture boils; boil 2 minutes. Remove from heat; ad vanilla and chocolate chips; stir until chocolate is melted. Stir in remaining ingredients. Quickly drop mixture by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper. Refrigerate until set.

Yield: About 4 dozen

Butterscotch can be substituted for chocolate
