Ingredients
- 1 cup kabuli chana (chickpeas)
- 1/2 cup chana dal
- 1 small onion finely chopped
- 2-3 green chili finely chopped
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 2-3 tsp coriander leaves finely chopped
- 2-3 tbsp bread crumb
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp fennel seeds
- Salt to taste
Preparation
Step 1
1. Soak kabuli chana & chana dal overnight or for 6-8 hours.
2. Drain & pressure cook kabuli chana & chana dal with enough
water till done.
3. Remove extra water & grind them in a mixer.
4. Now transfer the paste in a mixing bowl.
5. Add all other ingredients except oil & mix well.
6. Divide dough into equal portions.
7. Make thick round kabab with each portion.
8. In a non-stick pan, heat 2 tbsp oil
9. Shallow fry kababs till crisp & golden brown from both sides.
You can deep fry the kabab also.
10. Serve hot with green chutney/tomato ketchup.
