German Tea Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 c butter (no substitutes)
  • 1/2 c powdered sugar
  • 2 1/4 c flour
  • 1/4 t salt
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 3/4 nuts (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

Cream sugar and margarine. Add vanilla. Mix in dry ingredients. Form into balls. Bake 14 - 17 minutes at 400. While hot roll in powdered sugar.
