Chicken Breasts with Cheese and Chiles

Ingredients
- 4 boned & skinned Chicken breast halves
- 1 cup shredded jack cheese
- 1 can (4oz) diced green chiles
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions, incl.tops
- 4 slices crisply cooked bacon,crumbled
- 1 medium firm-ripe avocado, peeled, pitted and chopped
- 1 cup sour cream (optional)

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Lay breasts in an 8X12 inch pan; cover tightly with foil. Bake for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, mix cheese and chiles. Cover each breast equally with mixture, patting to hold in place. Sprinkle chicken evenly with green onion and crumbled bacon.
Return to oven and bake, uncovered, until chicken is white in center of thickest piece (cut to test) and cheese melts, about 10 minutes. Scatter avocado over chicken; serve with sour cream to taste.
