Ingredients
- 1 pound pizza dough
- cornmeal
- 3/4 C marinara sauce
- 2 C Gruyere, grated
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 poblano pepper, sliced
- 8 whole pepperoncini peppers
- salt and pepper
Preparation
Step 1
1.Shape 1 pound plain or whole-wheat pizza dough (thawed according to package directions) into a large round; place on a cornmeal-dusted baking sheet.
2.Top with ¾ cup marinara sauce, 2 cups grated Gruyère, 1 sliced red bell pepper, 1 sliced poblano pepper, and 8 whole pepperoncini peppers; season with salt and pepper.
3.Bake at 425° F until golden brown, 25 to 30 minutes.
