Heaven Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 (16oz) pkg pound cake mix
  • 1 c whipping cream
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 c sliced almonds
  • 1/2 c butter cut into cubes and softened
  • 1 c sugar 5 tbs flour
  • 6 tbs whipping cream

Preparation

Step 1

Beat first 3 ingredients with an electric mixer for 3 minutes. Pour into a lightly greased 9x13 baking pan.
Bake 350* for 25 minutes.
Process almonds and next 4 ingredients in a food processor until almonds are chopped fine and mixture is creamy.
Remove cake from oven. Drop almond mix by tsp fulls onto warm cake. Bake 10 minutes more until mixture is bubbly. Remove from oven and spread almond mix evenly.
Broil 4 inches from heat for 1 minute or until top is lightly browned.
