Creamy Grits

Ingredients

  • 2 c whipping cream or half and half
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp garlic
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 c uncooked quick cooking grits
  • 2 oz cream cheese
  • 3/4 c (3oz) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 tsp hot sauce

Preparation

Step 1

Bring first 4 ingredients to a boil. Stir in grits and simmer until thickened, stirring occasionally (5-7minutes) Add cheeses and hot sauce, stirring until melted.
