Pepperoni Pizza Pinwheels

Ingredients

  • 1 pouch (16 oz) Pantry Pizza Crust & Roll Mix (Pampered chef)
  • 1 1/4 cups warm water
  • 1 T vegetable oil
  • 2 garlic loves, pressed
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 3 plum tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning mix
  • Pepperoni slices
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Pizza sauce, warmed

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350. Spray muffin pan. In bowl, combine pizza crust mix, yeast packet, water, and 1 T oil. Mix dough according to pkg directions for pizza crust. Generously flour surface and roll out dough. Spread garlic evenly over surface of dough.

Spread 1/2 of the mozzarella cheese over dough. Slice tomatoes and arrange in a single layer over cheese. Sprinkle with Italian seasonings. Arrange pepperoni slices over tomato slices. Sprinkle remaining mozzarella cheese over pepperoni. Roll up dough; pinch seam to seal.

Using serrated knife, slice roll into 12 1 1/2 inch slices. Place slices, cut side up into muffin cups. Sprinkle Parmesan over rolls.

Bake 30-35 minutes or until deep golden brown. Remove to cooling rack. Cool 5 minutes before removing from pan. Serve with warmed pizza sauce for dipping.
