- 2 tablespoons yeast
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1/3 cup oil
- 2 cups hot water
- 6 cups flour

Step 1
Dissolve the yeast in the warm water.
Dissolve the salt and sugar in 2 cups of hot water with the oil.
Cool to lukewarm, then add the yeast. Add 3 cups flour and stir until smooth,. Then add 3 more cups flour and stir until smooth. Stir at 10 minute intervals 5 more times.
Flour a board and work enough flour into the dough to make it a good consistency.
Divide the dough in half. Roll into 2 rectangles. Roll up as for a jelly roll and pinch to close. Place on a grease sheet. Brush the top with oil. Sprinkle with sesame or poppy seeds on top. Slash in three places with scissors. Let rise until double.
Bake at 400 for 35-40 minutes.
