Ingredients
- 8-10 ounces angel-hair pasta
- 1 medium shallot
- 3 medium cloves garlic
- 2 sprigs sage leaves
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3/4 cup canned pumpkin puree
- 3/4 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup skim milk
- salt
- pepper

Preparation
Step 1
Bring large pot of salted water to boil over medium-high heat. Add pasta, cook 6-7 minutes.
Mince shallot and garlic. Finely chop sage.
Heat oil in large saucepan over medium heat. Add shallot and garlic; cook 3 minutes, stirring, until softened. Add pumpkin puree, broth, milk, and half of sage. Reduce heat to medium-low, cook for 10 minutes, stirring frequently, until sauce slightly thickened. Season with salt and pepper.
Drain pasta and add to sauce. Divide among individual plates and sprinkle with remaining sage.
