Tomato Chutney


Sweet accent to many appetizers. Top a cracker with roasted garlic, saga cheese and this chutney for a sweet hearty treat!

  • 1/2 Pound deseeded diced tomato
  • 3 3/4 Tbs sugar
  • 1 1/4 Tbs cider vinegar
  • 3 1/3 Tbs raisins
  • Zest of 1/8th of an orange
  • 1/4 Cup diced onion
  • 1/4 Minced jalapeno pepper


Servings 1
Preparation time 60mins
Cooking time 120mins


Step 1

In a saucepan reduce jalapeno, orange zest, vinegar and sugar until fairly thick.
Add raisins, tomatoes and onion
Simmer until marmalade consistency

Serve with Roasted Garlic and gorgonzola cheese on toast points.
