Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3/4 cup shortning
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans, toasted
Preparation
Step 1
Mix flour with salt. Cream shortning and butter. Add flour mixture to creamed mixture and blend well. Roll dough into 1 inch balls. Roll in sugar and flatten slightly on cookie sheet. Bake at 325 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
